NEW - Changes to our Specialized Recreation Summer Day Camps

Spec Rec Summer Camp

Weeks 1-3 of our Summer Camp this year are "inclusion" spaces within the Walnut Creek Recreation Day Camp. This camp is specifically for youth who have special needs or high energy, are high functioning and in a mainstream school program during the school year but could use a little extra assistance in a larger group setting.

Weeks 4-8 of our Summer Camp is our popular Specialized Recreation camp. For the first time ever, this camp runs from Monday through Friday from 9am - 3pm.

NEW - Adult Puppet Play Class

We constantly add to our program offerings and are excited to present our newest addition: Puppet Play on Tuesdays from 6pm - 7pm. This activity is full of color and excitement. If you are looking for a great way to spend a Tuesday evening then this is it. Master puppeteer Mark Pitzlin has a variety of different pup-pets that you can bring to life and give them a personality of their own.
This adaptive program is intended to meet the needs of all participants who join. At the end of the six week program the participants will put on a pup-pet performance for their family and friends. To learn more, click here.

Take a look at our Spring 2020 Newsletter to learn more about programs, events and classes we offer.
