Civic Arts Education joins Diablo Ballet in offering two Diablo Ballet Summer Intensives this year. These programs include classes taught by Diablo Ballet's Professional Intermediate Director, Rebecca Crowell, Diablo Ballet dancers and other distinguished faculty.. The three-week programs are designed for both intermediate and advanced students ages 11-18 years old with at least two years of ballet experience. Both levels will perform in an exciting performance on July 31 at the Shadelands Arts Center Auditorium in Walnut Creek. | Schedule: | Intermediate & Advanced

Modern and Jazz | | Cost: | The cost of the program is $600. To ensure your spot, $250 is due by Monday, May 5, 2009, and the balance is due Monday, July 6, 2009. Make checks payable to City of Walnut Creek. | | Auditions: | Call Diablo Ballet at (925) 943-1775, ext 2, for further information. Students will be placed either in the intermediate or advanced level after their audition class. Audition class fee is $15. Enrollment is limited; sign up early to ensure your place. | | Performance: | The Diablo Ballet Summer Dance Intensive will finish the sessions with an exciting performance consisting of repertoire, world premiers, modern character and jazz dances.
