  Parking in Walnut Creek

Welcome to Parking in Downtown Walnut Creek!

NEW! Parking sensors will make open street parking easier to find

The City is installing 1,000 wireless parking sensors in street parking spaces in April and May. The sensors communicate wirelessly with the new parking meters and provide real-time parking availability info to drivers via a free smart app powered by ParkMe.
In addition, real-time reporting of parking patterns will give the City valuable information as it seeks to improve parking for downtown customers, employees and businesses.

Did you know that many businesses will validate parking at the public garages? Look for the Validation sign or ask the business if it participates in the Validation Program.
There are also many privately owned garages and parking lots throughout downtown Walnut Creek; be sure to check a particular lot's signage for pricing and time limits.
