| Registration for the class starting in February is full! Please note that there is a $20 CERT program fee payable the first day of class. Graduates of this program are sworn in as Disaster Service Worker Volunteers for the City.

Session 2: Basic Disaster Skills PLUS Introduction to FRS (Family Radio System)
Learn about different types of fires and how to use a fire extinguisher. Also, how to shut off gas and electricity, and what kinds of hazardous materials to look out for. | | Tuesday, Feb. 16
Session 3: Disaster Medical Operations, Part 1
Disaster Psychology. How to conduct triage and treat the "3 Killers" (opening airways, stopping bleeding and treating shock). Hands-on exercise.
