North Main Rehabilitation Project
Dates: June-July 2019 (tentative schedule, subject to change)
Description: The North Main Rehabilitation Project will repair and repave the roadway on North Main Street between N. California Boulevard and Penniman Way. This project will also perform American with Disabilities Act (ADA) upgrades at curb ramp locations and repair damaged sidewalk within the project limits.
Impacts: Vehicular lane and sidewalk closures will be required to perform the work. ADA upgrades and street repairs will occur during the day, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM. Repaving will occur at night, Sunday through Thursday, between the hours of 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM.

2019 Slurry Seal Project
Neighborhoods: Buena Vista, Las Juntas Drive and Surrounding Streets, Overlook Drive. A map of streets can be found here.
Description: The streets listed here will receive a slurry seal, which consists of fine sandy materials, mixed with a different type of oil (emulsion) that will make the street surface relatively smooth. The sealing process will protect the existing roadway asphalt pavement and will extend the life of the pavement. Striping removal, crack-sealing, and tree trimming will occur before the slurry seal.
Impacts: Street and lane closures will be required to perform the work. During the street closures, no parking will be allowed on the streets and no vehicle access will be allowed. "No Parking" signs will be posted at least 48 hours prior to the closure of parking spaces.
Broadway and Mt Diablo Traffic Signal Improvements
Dates: March – May 2019 (tentative schedule, subject to change)
Description: Construction will begin for the traffic signal improvements at Broadway and Mount Diablo. This project will include the reconstruction of the existing curb ramp located at the south east corner of the intersection, pedestrian push button relocation, replacement of existing vehicle signal indications, CCTV camera relocation, installation of traffic signal video detection cameras, conduit installation, pull box installation and a complete traffic signal rewire.
Impacts: Lane closures will be required to perform the work. The Contractor will post pedestrian detours during sidewalk closures. Contractor will post “No Parking” signs at least 48 hours prior to closure of parking spaces. This project will also require a traffic signal shutdown to rewire the intersection. The traffic signal shutdown will occur in the evening/night. The date for the signal shutdown has not been determined.
