This program offers some of the best activities and outings for the developmentally disabled in the entire Bay Area. We visit historic sites, go camping, learn to cook and engage in a large variety of other activities. Our adult program operates from September to May. All activities and trips are designed specifically for developmentally disabled adults.
Summer Day Camp Program
June 24 - August 9
Staff Training - June 16-20
Monday - Friday
9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Campers, ages 5 to 21, engage in sport activities, arts and crafts, cooking, swimming, drama, and just having fun! Every Friday we take a different field trip ranging from overnight camping to kayaking.

Recreation Leader
16 years and older
$8.50-$9.50 hr.
Responsibilities:
Oversee developmentally disabled participants in a field like setting.
Provide a safe and fun environment.
Coordinate sports, arts and crafts, cooking and other activities.
Facilitate class enrichment programs.
Conduct a wide variety of drama classes.
Requirements:
Able to work independently.
Able to follow directions.
Have high energy, flexibility and creativity
A willingness to work with children and teens with special needs.
Experience working with developmentally disabled population helpful.
Senior Recreation Leader
19 years and older
$11.75-$12.75 hr.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Recreation Program Specialist to develop programs and activities for a diverse population.
Assist with the coordination of safety, programs, activities and special events.
Oversee field trips and special program activities.
Requirements:
Experience working with the developmentally disabled population.
Ability to work weekends and two Saturdays each month.
Have high energy, be flexible and creative.
