Subject: Carriage Square Traffic Calming Focus Group Meetings
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the residents who attended the August 29, 2001 problem identification workshop and those who returned the neighborhood survey forms. We have combined the issues identified through both of these means into a master list from which to work. During the next six weeks, representatives from the cities of Walnut Creek and Concord, Mt Diablo Unified School District, Carondelet, De La Salle and Ygnacio Valley High Schools and Bancroft Elementary School will be reviewing all the issues that surfaced. We will also be creating an educational presentation for the neighborhood to aid in the development of community-based solutions to these complex issues.
The purpose of this letter is to invite you to attend the series of focus group meetings beginning on Thursday November 15, 2001. Please refer to the enclosed flyer for the schedule of meetings. All meetings will be held at Carondelet High School in the cafeteria.
Rafat Raie can be reached at 256-3529 or if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Rafat S. Raie, P.E.
