  Lar Rieu Park

The City officially dedicated Lar Rieu Park on Nov. 3, 2007. More than 80 people attended the opening, which was officiated by Mayor Sue Rainey and featured remarks by Barry Lar Rieu, the son of Miriam Lar Rieu, and neighbor Jake Bronson.
The city’s 22nd park is located at 196 El Camino Corto on a 10-acre site next to Bronson Lane. The site was grant deeded in 1975 to the City by Miriam Lar Rieu, who died in 2003. Lar Rieu Park has no park amenities, but offers an impressive view of Mount Diablo.

There is no public parking lot at the park, but street parking is available around the park.
