Join us for the grand opening of Walnut Creek's all-abilities playground at Heather Farm on Saturday, October 25th. Following the ceremony and ribbon cutting at 10 am, the playground will be open to the public.

Size: 102 acres

Amenities: Swimming at the Clarke Swim Center, tennis, picnic areas, community center (click here for rental information) equestrian center, skate park, off-leash dog park, bike paths, tot lots, sand volleyball court, fishing pond, nature pond, six athletic fields, restrooms, connection to the Iron Horse Trail.

NOTE: Ballfields 3-6 are closed every Thursday for maintenance from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Ballfields 1 and 2 are closed for maintenance every Wednesday from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and closed for refurbishment March through April.

Dogs: Dogs may be off-leash in the dog park at the north end of the park. In all other areas of the park, dogs must be on leash. Dogs are not allowed on the ballfields.

Weekdays - 7 am - 8 pm (or sunset)

Weekends & Holidays - 8 am - 8 pm (or sunset)

Closed every Tuesday from 7 am - noon, for regular maintenance.
