    Sprouts Market & Retail Shops

    On August 16, 2010, Hall Equities Group filed a General Plan Amendment and Design Review application to redevelop the 2.76-acre site formerly occupied by a co-op grocery. The applicant proposes to raze the vacant 24,862 square-foot building and construct three new retail buildings totaling 34,598 square feet. The anchor tenant on the site will be a 25,000 square-foot Henry’s Farmers Market grocery store. Two smaller retail pad buildings are also proposed. This project will require amendment of the site’s current General Plan land use designation from Mixed Use – Residential Emphasis (MU-R) to General Retail (GR).

    A project that will demolish 40,787 sq.ft of floor area on 2.74 acres to make way for a new 29,731 square-foot automotive sales and service building. A portion of the site will be used for vehicle inventory, customer parking, and outdoor vehicle displays. The project consists of grading, new traffic signals, relocation or undergrounding of utilities, and street and sidewalk improvements.

    Habitat for Humanity Townhomes

    A proposed 10-unit townhome project on a 0.65-acre site at the terminus of Barkley Avenue. The project consists of 2, 3, and 4-bedroom units in two buildings. The units will be constructed with resource efficient features to addres water and energy consumption, passive solar heating, and indoor air quality.

    The project requires Rezoning to allow for multifamily development and Design Review for the site and building design.

    The two-acre project will demolish an eight-story, 58,200 square foot office building, a one-story, 6,600 square foot retail building, and a surface parking lot.  This will allow the construction of a four-story, 128,575 square foot building containing 49 residential condominiums, 38,000 square feet of retail space, two levels of underground parking and site amenities including landscaping and outdoor patio seating areas
