Olympic size, 20 lane lap pool
Heated Locker rooms and Showers
Fitness Center with cardiovascular and weight equipment
Diving pool with 1 meter spring board (open seasonally)
Children's wading pool (2-3 ½ feet deep - open seasonally)
Vending machines for snacks and drinks

No private swim lessons or private swim instruction of any kind.

No evening lap swim: September 24, December 24 and December 31.
Swim Center / Heather Farm Playground Parking lot will be closed
Monday, Sept 21 - Monday, Sept 28 for the Walnut Festival.

Limited playground access Monday, Sept 21 - Thursday, Sept 24.
Paid access only to playground Friday, Sept 25 - Sunday, Sept 28 during Walnut Festival hours.

YEAR ROUND Water Aerobics

Shape up and slim down with invigorating water exercise!  Use the water's natural buoyancy and resistance as an excellent form of exercise for those looking for something new or those with special considerations such as : pregnancy, arthritis, knee/joint problems or other special considerations.  Swimming skills not required.

Larkey Swim Center is undergoing a major face lift! Renovation is scheduled to begin Fall 2015. Re-opening is scheduled for Summer 2017.


Everyone entering the facility must pay the entrance fee. (No Refunds)
Appropriate bathing suits are required.  Street clothes are not permitted in the pools. Any child that is not completely potty-trained must wear an approved swim diaper.
To avoid pool closures, please remember to have children visit the bathroom periodically throughout the visit. 
Swimming instruction of any kind is not permitted without prior written approval from aquatics coordinators.

Paid admission entitles patron to the use of the locker rooms, showers, fitness center, and lap swim. Everyone entering the facility must pay admission fee.

Summer Recreational Swim Pass
Enjoy unlimited use of the Clarke and Larkey Swim Centers during recreational swim times. 
Splash Pass wrist bands are sold separately; not included with summer recreation swim pass.

Our facilities are great for end of the year parties and summer day camp programs. Call now to reserve your spot for hours of summer fun. Space is limited so sign up early.

Splish Splash Package
Plan to have your next party at the pool! Reserve picnic tables in a shaded area during recreational swim hours at Clarke Swim Center. Package includes use of charcoal grill and refrigerator, and admission for up to 20 guests.

Walnut Creek Swim Club (Summer Recreation swim team)

This nationally ranked Swim Team is a year-round United States Swimming competitive program. It provides novice through Olympic level training for youth swimmers of all abilities. For information, call 939-5990. Head coach, Rick Millington.

Our Adult (19-90+) swim team is one of the finest (and most fun) in the country, providing a competitive swimming programs for adults. Group workouts are held 5:30-6:30 am, 6:45-7:45 am, 10:30-11:30 am, noon-1:00 pm, Monday-Friday, and 7:00 - 8:00 pm, Monday-Thursday. For more information, call 280-5421. Head Coach, Kerry O'Brien.
