AQUATIC SPOTLIGHT

CHILDREN ARE NOT WATERPROOF
Did you know that drowning is one of the leading causes of accidental death for infants and young children? Below are tips to think about when around water:
Always maintain adult supervision around any body of water
Kids are fearless and do not understand the fatal consequences of water
Never leave children or non-swimmers unattended near water
Appoint & clearly assign an adult supervisor for your pool area

Utilize barriers around pools - It's the law!
Locked doors? Safety pool cover? Self-latching gates & fencing?

    Be prepared for an emergency
Is there a phone close by?
Have you taken a CPR class?
Is there rescue equipment near your pool?
