  Bedford Gallery Advisory Council
Mission
The Bedford Gallery Advisory Council meets to review the Curator’s proposals for individual exhibitions and education programs. The Council considers the artistic interest of the exhibitions and programs, their potential interest to the community, and also their adherence to City Council and Arts Commission guidelines. The Council offers advice to the Curator on many subjects, which can range from facilities needs to developing a marketing plan to selecting exhibitions for the coming year. The Advisory Council acts as an advocate for the Gallery and its programs. Click here for Bedford Gallery homepage.

The Bedford Gallery Advisory Council also reviews and approves all public art projects proposed for the City of Walnut Creek.

Members of the Bedford Gallery Advisory Council are appointed by the Walnut Creek Arts Commission, which looks for individuals who have demonstrated an interest in the cultural needs of the community as well as an ability to identify those needs and respond to them.

The Bedford Gallery Advisory Council meets at 5 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month at the Learning Center, Lesher Center for the Arts.
