By The Kids For The Kids

Looking for something fun and exciting that helps the community at the same time? By the Kids For the Kids is a student-directed and student-produced charity organization that teaches kids ages 8-18 the basics of theatre and performing. Student directors work with their kids and rehearse songs from popular musicals. Performers will have the opportunity to showcase what they have learned at a final performance on Sunday, October 5, at the Shadelands Auditorium. All proceeds from this event go to two local charities: Friends of Civic Arts Education and the Monument Crisis Center. More details to come in the Fall Guide. Registration begins August 6 or call (925) 943-5846 for more information.
