The City of Walnut Creek has removed the single-space parking meters along North Main Street (from Civic Drive to Bonanza Drive) and installed six multi-space parking pay stations. Click here for location of the parking pay stations.

The "Pay-by-Space" parking pay stations are installed to improve customer convenience by offering multiple ways to pay, and several other advantages, such as:

• Convenience of multiple pay options
• Multi-lingual capabilities
• Operation via wireless two-way communication
• May reduce sidewalk clutter and improve aesthetics
• Enhanced security and reduced maintenance
• More efficient collection and enforcement

Note the space number of your parking stall (located on the street curb). Look for the "Pay to Park" directional signs for the nearest parking pay station.

With the new equipment transition, users still need to pay for parking and comply with the posted time limits.
