PROJECT NAME: WCI - Spread Mulch in the Gardens SPONSOR: Walnut Creek Intermediate School Science Department
DESCRIPTION: Volunteers will help spread wood chips (mulch) in both the Native Plant Garden and the Science Department Garden.
LOCATION: 2425 Walnut Bouelvard. Meet between the Science building and the Annex (back of 'horseshoe parking lot')
NUMBER OF VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: 7
AGE REQUIREMENTS: All ages welcome. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Some heavy lifting
VOLUNTEERS SHOULD BRING: Hat, work clothes, work gloves, sunscreen, water. If possible, wheelbarrows, shovels, pitch forks.
