PROJECT NAME: Demonstration Garden at Civic Park
SPONSOR: Gardens at Heather Farm
DESCRIPTION: Help replant and renovate the integrated pest management garden at Civic Park. This project is co-sponsored with the Friends of the Creeks and the City's Clean Water Program.
LOCATION: 1375 Civic Drive. Meet in East Civic Park, between bridge and Iron Horse Trail.
NUMBER OF VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: 15
AGE REQUIREMENTS: Minimum age 12. Those under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Be prepared to dig with shovels in hard soil.
VOLUNTEERS SHOULD BRING: Gloves, hat, sunscreen, sturdy shoes, water and shovels
