PROJECT NAME: Food Drive

SPONSOR: Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano

DESCRIPTION: Collect food in your neighborhood to help the Food Bank. You will distribute bags and fliers the week before the drive (bags and sample fliers provided), then collect the food on October 1 and deliver to the collection spot at Heather Farm. This is a great project for youth groups, church groups and families.

LOCATION: Heather Farm Park Community Center.

NUMBER OF VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: unlimited

AGE REQUIREMENTS: All ages welcome

VOLUNTEERS SHOULD BRING: Comfortable walking shoes, hat, suncreen
