Save the Date for 2012 Community Service Day! The 2012 Community Service Day will be Saturday, October 6. Project proposals are currently being accepted; projects sponsors must be non-profits, schools or government agencies. Walnut Creek's first Community Service Day in 2011 was a success, thanks to the 1,000 community members who helped with the day, or worked on one of 42 projects throughout the city.
